About dAnth	English (USA)
Working group on digital anthology of scholarly papers. Dear colleagues: We're starting a mailing list on digital anthology issues as it seems a number of us are running into the same issues concerning pre-processing, collection, cleaning and (of course) research on such issues. These include: focused crawling, manual entry of scholarly papers conversion of PDF to text/xml data cleaning and de-duplication automatic methods for citation processing (segmentation/functional typing) argumentative zoning and classification of scholarly papers working with such anthologies: DBLP/SIGMOD Anthology, CiteSeer, ACL Anthology, MedLine, CSCB The list also has a wiki here at http://belobog.si.umich.edu:8668/space/citeseer (new address as of June 2007) to help community efforts and to serve as a blackboard for status updates. I hope you will join in on our discussion list and contribute to make it a relevant and lively forum for debate. Subscribing to dAnth
