About

Hi! You have reached my webpage. I am a fifth year PhD candidate at School of Computing, National University of Singapore. I am associated with the Web Information Retrieval / Natural Language Processing Group (WING) and advised by associate professor Dr. Min-Yen Kan. My research interest lies in application of deep learning to text, specifically scientific documents.

Prior to joining NUS, I graduated with a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Patna. I also worked for an year at Cisco Systems as Software Development Engineer and did internships at Mentor Graphics and Indian Railways. I also spent four months as PhD research intern at Naver Labs Europe (erstwhile Xerox Research Center Europe).
