Hai-Tao Yu is working at University of Tsukuba as a Tenured associate professor. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2013 from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tokushima, Japan. His research focuses on Information Retrieval and Machine Learning. From Feb. 2015 to Jan. 2017, he was visiting at the IR group of School of Computing Science, University of Glasgow sponsored by University of Tsukuba. He is a member of IEEE and ACM. He is the co-organizer of the NTCIR tasks: Temporalia-2 and AKG.
